About us

This website is operated by Cranks Bike Shop, 352A Penshurst Street, Chatswood NSW 2067. By using this website or reserving products through it, you agree to these terms.

Prices and product information

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. We work hard to keep prices, stock levels, descriptions and images accurate, but errors can happen. If a product is listed at an incorrect price or is no longer available, we'll let you know before you pay and you won't be charged.

Product images are for illustration. Colours, specifications and components may vary slightly from the image, and manufacturers may change specifications without notice.

Click & collect

Products shown online can be reserved for collection from our Chatswood shop. Reserving is free and no payment is taken online. Reserved items are held for 24 hours, and payment is made in store when you collect.

Stock shown online is updated regularly but can change quickly. If a reserved item is no longer available, we'll contact you to arrange an alternative or cancel the reservation.

Gift cards

Gift cards can be bought online and are delivered by email. Gift cards are valid for at least 3 years from the date of purchase, can be used in store, and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

Workshop services

Service prices shown on our website are a guide. We'll confirm the cost with you before carrying out any additional work or fitting parts beyond the quoted service.

E-bikes

Every e-bike we sell is certified to EN 15194. The motor only assists while you pedal, cuts out at 25 km/h and has a maximum continuous rated power of 250W. That means it's road legal in NSW now and after 1 March 2029, when only EN 15194 certified e-bikes will be allowed on NSW roads.

Modifying an e-bike to increase its power or speed, for example by de-restricting it or fitting a different motor or battery, can make it illegal to ride on roads and paths and voids the manufacturer's warranty. Modified e-bikes are also banned from NSW trains and Metro. Rules can change, so check Transport for NSW for the latest e-bike requirements.

Returns and refunds

Returns are handled under our Returns & Refunds policy at cranks.com.au/returns. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Our liability for goods and services is limited as permitted under the Australian Consumer Law.

Privacy

We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy at cranks.com.au/privacy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies at the time you use the website or make a reservation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
